Cosen's C-7656RNC incorporates a 10 hp powerful blade motor, 2” wide blade, independent control panel, and heavy-duty dual column design. These features create a very rigid, dynamically stable and productive machine. The oversized precision ground columns ensure smooth saw frame movement and the consistently stable cutting force required throughout the cutting cycle, thereby increasing the cutting efficiency and extending blade life. Roller Bed insures smooth and easy feeding of difficult to feed material. As with all Cosen column type machines, this saw has a .50 kant.

Control System:

Cosen now offers the latest in Touch Screen Control Technology, SNC-100. Coupled with a Mitsubishi PLC controller the 5.7” Color Touch Screen allows for fast easy programming of any job. Utilizing the SNC-100 System the operator easily programs the cut length and quantity desired. The SNC-100 System stores up to 100 cutting jobs and features Automatic Kerf Compensation for parts longer than a single index. The SNC-100 System also utilizes “Save-A-Blade” which retracts the material 1/8” from the blade at the end of each cut so the blade will not rub the material while the saw head moves up to allow the next index. All machine functions are controlled from the operator’s station. The control panel is ergonomically designed and located for convenient use by the operator. Any length of cut desired up to 999” can be selected.

Machine Structure:

• Precision ground, large Dual Columns support and guide the rugged saw head throughthe entire cutting cycle. The oversized round columns provide hundreds of square inches of continuous surface contact with the sawhead throughout the entire cutting process.
  
• Cross Link is located on the top of the columns, connecting the two columns to form anarchway design that gives it sound structural strength.

Blade Drive

• The gearbox is specially designed to accept high lateral pressure. Unlike conventionalgearboxes, the Cosen design accepts more pressure during operation and will not createthermal distortion, providing long gearbox life under production conditions.
• Inverter blade drive system allows infinitely variable blade speeds to be controlled by theoperator from the control panel with turn of a knob. The system comes standard withLED readout for convenient and accurate setting of blade speed.

• Blade “clip” device eases blade changing when necessary by holding the blade on theband wheel during installation, making it very easy for one person to change the blade.
